Ponderosa State Park is located just outside of McCall. It’s about a 5 minute drive from downtown and it’s a gorgeous location for family photos! There are several beaches and forest trails that have beautiful backdrops and views of the water. Last time I was in the park taking photos, a bald eagle flew right over our heads! The park is big enough that it feels secluded and peaceful, but it’s small enough to go to 2 or 3 different locations within an hour.
