Oregon’s wine country is located throughout the Willamette Valley just an hour or so south of the city of Portland. With over 500 wineries in the valley there are just a handful that also offer their property as a wedding venue. I’ve put together a list of my top 10 favorite winery wedding venues, all with their own unique characteristics.

Domaine De Broglie

Located in the Dundee Hills of the Willamette Valley, Domaine De Broglie is one of my favorite winery wedding venues. Formerly Known as Vista Hills Winery before being purchased and renamed by Fancis Coppola. The property contains a gorgeous mix of forest and vines. The patio off of the tasting room faces the sunset and views of the surrounding hills, making it the perfect place for guests to enjoy dinner and toasts as the day fades into night. This venue is great for intimate and mid-sized weddings of up to 200 guests.

Maysara Winery

Just an hour and twenty minutes south of Portland you’ll find yourself at Maysara Winery – a stunning venue with infinite possibilities. The cellar doubles as an indoor space for ceremonies, dining area, and dance floor. Guest can enjoy a walk around the grounds at cocktail hour and explore the vineyards. A big plus for this venue is the ability to have an indoor wedding in case of rain while still enjoying the elements of the outdoors. Perfect for intimate gatherings and even larger weddings of 200+ guests.

Youngberg hill winery

Youngberg Hill winery has it all – Views of the surrounding hills, a beautiful ceremony location, on-site Inn and a separate reception building. Youngberg Hill is about an hour south of Portland right in the thick of wine country. The grounds are surrounded by forests that are great for shooting portraits with the bridal party and couples photos at sunset. Wonderful for large weddings of 100+ Guests.

Saffron Fields Vineyard

Saffron Fields is an upscale venue that is perfect for those who want an intimate experience and excellent food and wine. Saffron Fields is surrounded by rolling hills of vines as well as its very own manicured japanese zen garden. Located in the heart of wine country, guests can stay in nearby Yamhill or Carlton.

Gorge Crest Vineyards

Gorge Crest Vineyard is easily one of my favorite venues in the area. It’s actually across the Columbia River in Washington, which means amazing views of Mt. Hood and the Cascade mountain range. The owners have done a wonderful job of creating a ceremony site with beautiful views and great afternoon/evening light. In the summer the property is full of vivid wildflowers and it’s really just a treat for the eyes all around! The venue can accommodate larger weddings and intimate gatherings alike.

Zeinth Vineyard

Zenith Vineyard is just outside of Salem and only an hour south of Portland, making it easily accessible for large groups of guests and vendors. Zenith makes it easy with onsite catering, tables, chairs, and of course wine. There is an indoor and outdoor option for the wedding reception making this a year-round option. The ballroom has huge 20ft ceilings and lots of grounds for guests to roam. A good option for mid to large weddings of 100+ guests.

Black Walnut Inn & Vineyard

Black Walnut Inn has been described by many as “Tuscany meets Oregon” The Italian-style villa looks like it belongs in a European setting rather than the Willamette Valley. With over 100 acres of grounds and views of Mt. Jefferson and Mt. Hood, the scenery surrounding the venue is perfect for sunset dinners and twilight photo sessions. Couples and guests can even stay on the property. Great for both intimate and mid-sized weddings.

Beckenridge Vineyard

Beckenridge Vineyard offers wedding bookings year round and is particularly beautiful in the fall months with changing colors and their cozy fireplace. This venue has been specifically designed to host weddings and that means they include all of the amenities you could want. Invite up to 250 guests. Beckenridge is definitely better for larger groups than intimate weddings.

Beacon Hill Winery

Beacon Hill Winery is an established Oregon winery with a warm friendly atmosphere. They have several different reception areas and ceremony sites – both indoor and outdoor making this a year round option. The hilltop location offers views of the surrounding valley and area vineyards. Set truly in the heart or Oregon wine country, guests will have plenty to do (and taste) before and after your wedding festivities. This venue is great for mid-sized and larger weddings.

Ponzi Vineyard

Ponzi Vineyard is a little more off the beaten path then most Willamette Valley wineries,.Ponzi Vineyards feels more secluded and intimate. The venue building is modern and stunning against the rugged surroundings. The vines expand over the hills and the elevated patio is gorgeous at sunset. Ponzi offers several different spaces to choose from when booking. Excellent for mid-sized weddings of about 100 guests.
