Beautiful wedding venues in Bend are popping up all the time. The rugged beauty of the high desert of central Oregon is becoming more and more popular as a backdrop for Elopements and weddings. Just over the Cascade Mountain Range from Portland, they world opens up into the vast, sunny, sage-covered valley of Sisters, Madras, and Bend. I’ve listed a few of my favorite wedding venues in the Bend area (along with some cute airbnbs!) for any couple planning an Oregon desert wedding.

Planning something a bit more intimate? Or maybe you want something a bit unique? Airbnb has some great options for small weddings and elopements. Even if you’re just looking for a beautiful getting ready space, these airbnbs are full of natural light and they’re interiors are very photogenic. Of course you will always want to double check with any airbnb owner before booking to make sure its a-okay! Here are a few of my favorite Bend wedding airbnbs.
The Geodesic Dome
This place is awesome for obvious reasons! It’s one of the most unique looking airbnbs in Bend and I think it would be the perfect backdrop to any elopement. The nature surrounding the dome creates a very tranquil setting. Mountain bike trails and hiking trails are nearby, and Tumalo Falls is just a few minutes away by car.
A-Fame of Mind
Okay, who doesn’t love an A-frame?! I love the retro vibes and the coziness of the interior decor. I think this would be the perfect match for any couples planning a low-key vintage vibe for their wedding or elopement.
This space is clean and bright – a photographers dream! The sawmill would be a wonderful space to relax and get ready for an outdoor adventure to nearby lakes, forests, and waterfalls. This spot is right in town so it’s easy to grab drinks and food anytime of the day.
The Mill House
I just love the cottage bungalo vibe at this house! The cozy wooden details and the clean lines make a lovely setting for an intimate wedding or elopement. The Mill House is located in Bend’s historic district, which means you can walk to just about anything in town.
If you’re looking for seclusion and tranquility, I can’t think of a better spot than this peaceful cabin surrounded by nature. Blinn’s Landing is located south of Bend at the confluence of the Spring and Deschutes Rivers. A wonderful venue for small weddings and elopements.
